Raised in North West Thailand, our Head Chef Khun Aom has drawn on years of experience to create a vibrant and colourful menu at River Thai.
Taught to cook at a young age by her mother and grandmother in their family owned restaurant, Aom’s success in the kitchen continued when her family relocated to Pataya opening their second restaurant. After moving to the UK 7 years ago Aom is now sharing her creative cooking style here with us at River Thai, combining traditional dishes, Thai street food recipes and new experimental recipes.
Visitors to Thailand will appreciate cooking is a way of life and forms part of Thai culture, popular for its subtle blending of flavours, utilising herbs and roots such as lemongrass, basil, coriander, galangal, krachai, ginger, garlic and chillies. Here at River Thai we use only the freshest ingredients cooked, decorated and presented in the finest way possible for you to enjoy.

All our dishes are freshly cooked to order, using only the finest ingredients.

Any cancellations are required within 48hrs of booking.

All our sauces pastes and dips are made by our Thai chefs in our kitchens using the freshest authentic Thai ingredients.
